Storm-triggered Google Ads

Watching hail · wind · flood · tornado · snow · 24/7

Your ads go up where the storm hit.

Hail, wind, flood, tornado, snow. When one hits a county you cover, StormFunnel builds your Google Ads campaign for the ZIP codes in that county. You approve it, or let Autopilot launch it inside your caps — and it goes off again when demand fades.

Start freeReplay a storm

Free means every storm in your counties becomes a ready-to-paste campaign — you launch it yourself. No card, and nothing runs until you say so.

For roofing, restoration, siding, gutters, tree removal and board-up crews — the ones homeowners call after a storm.

Alert data: National Weather Service / NOAA. Public sources.

Example alerts. We watch all 3,143 US counties, every five minutes.

See it work

One storm. Roof, siding, windows, water.

Hail takes the roof, the siding, the gutters and the windows in one afternoon, and the water that follows takes the basement. When a storm hits a county you cover, StormFunnel builds the campaign for the ZIP codes in that county, with keywords for every service you sell — not only the one on the sign.

Alerts in, ZIP codes out

Same budget. Spent on the days that pay.

Off on quiet days. On when the alert hits. Money moves on storm days only.

Severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service, watched around the clock over your service area. Quiet day? Nothing happens, and nothing is spent.

  1. The event

    The alert lands

A qualifying weather alert — hail, wind, flood, tornado, snow — lands in a county you serve. StormFunnel watches your whole service area around the clock, so nobody at your shop has to be on radar duty.

  2. The concentration

The budget lands where the storm did

The campaign is built for the ZIP codes in the counties under the alert — built, not tweaked on one you already had — so the same monthly budget goes to the area that got hit on the day it got hit, instead of being spread thin and already out of money by the time your neighbors start searching.

  3. The result

    Your ads are already there

Homeowners start searching whatever the storm broke, within hours, and most hire whoever they find first — your ads are there with a real local company and a number to call, and they go off again when demand fades.

Ads start within the hour of your approval.

Setup is five plain-language screens on Free, eight once you are running ads — about fifteen minutes either way. Ads run in your own Google Ads account on your own card, or in a Managed account we open for you, and nothing spends outside the caps you set.

Type your ZIP and see your own year: how many days a storm hit your counties — the days your ads could have been in front of people who had just been hit — and where the same budget was going on all the others.

Storm days come from NOAA’s Storm Events record for 2025, counted once per county per day so one squall line is one storm and not forty. Nothing here ran and nothing was spent. Not affiliated with any government agency.

Questions owners actually ask

Straight answers.

Not on the list? Ask us directly →

01Does StormFunnel spend my money?

Not without your say-so, on either setup. Bring your own Google Ads account and the ads run on your billing, inside caps you set — we never touch your card for ad spend. Choose Managed and you top up a balance with us and we spend only that; when it runs out, the ads stop. Either way the daily and monthly caps and the kill switch are enforced by the system, not by promises.

02Is ad spend included in the price?

No — and you wouldn’t want it to be. Bring your own Google Ads account and 100% of your ad budget goes to Google on your card, inside caps you set, with no markup and no cut for us. On Managed we run it in an account we open for you. Your balance buys ads at Google's price, dollar for dollar. We add no percentage and no fee to it. Whatever you don't spend comes back on request. What Managed adds is a one-time $499 to open and configure the account, then the same monthly plan everyone pays — nothing is added to your ad spend.

03Any hidden fees?

Bring your own account and the subscription is the entire StormFunnel fee: no setup fee, no per-campaign charge, no percentage of your ad spend, no surprise line items. Managed has one more charge, and only one. A one-time $499 to open and configure the account — once, ever — charged when you ask us to build it and refunded in full if we cannot deliver a live account. After that our only fee is your monthly plan, and nothing is ever taken out of your ad money. The ad balance you top up is not a fee — it is your ad money, we spend it at Google at cost, and whatever you don’t spend comes back on request.

04Is there a contract?

Month to month. Cancel in the app in two clicks — no phone call, no retention specialist. Bring your own account and it stays yours, with every campaign and all its history, working without us. On Managed the account is ours to open and ours to hand over: ask for it and we transfer it to you, and your prepaid balance comes back either way. The one-time $499 you paid to open the account is not refunded once the account is live — the work was done — but you never pay it again for that account, not even if you leave and come back.

05I’ve never run ads. Do I need marketing experience?

If you can reply to an email, you can run StormFunnel. Templates, keywords, and budgets ship pre-tuned from real storm campaigns; you flip storm types on and set a daily cap. And if you’d rather not touch any of it, we’ll get on a call and set it up with you.

06What if no storms hit my area?

Then you pay for readiness, not results — and honestly, if your area truly gets no qualifying storms, StormFunnel isn’t for you and we’ll say so on the call. That’s also what the Free plan is for: watch a season, see the alerts that would have fired, then decide. And if you want ads running between storms: Storm Ads and up includes always-on campaigns. You build one in the console and start it yourself — no always-on campaign ever starts itself, so a quiet month still spends nothing unless you choose to.

07What if I don’t like an ad?

Start in approval mode: nothing goes live until you say so. We email you the storm, the budget and how many counties it covers, and the campaign waits on your approvals card — an unanswered one never runs. Pause-all works at any moment — one button stops every StormFunnel campaign at once.

08Do I need to change my website?

No. Campaigns send storm traffic to the pages you already have. If your site takes calls and form fills today, you’re ready.

09Which areas and trades do you cover?

US only — built for the trades where the 72-hour window after a storm decides who gets the job: roofing, disaster restoration, and exterior and emergency work like siding, gutters, tree removal and board-up. You pick yours during setup and the keywords and ad copy arrive tuned for it; if you do something else storm-driven, you bring the searches your customers type and we run the storm timing around them. Tell us your trade and we'll tell you straight where you stand.

10What does it cost?

Free is $0 forever. Storm Ads is $299 a month, Autopilot is $399, both month to month, and Enterprise is quoted. Managed — where we open the Google Ads account and run it for you — is the same monthly plan plus a one-time $499 to open and configure the account. Ad spend is separate either way: bring your own account and it goes straight to Google with no cut for us, and on Managed you put money on an ad balance with us that we spend at Google at cost, with no percentage added — the first top-up is at least $750, asked for after the account is built, and anything you don’t spend comes back on request.

11Do my keywords improve after each storm?

Only if you turn it on, and not on your first storm — that one is the storm we learn from, so the earliest anything changes is your second. Autopilot has a single switch for this and it is off until you flip it. With it on, we read what people actually searched and which of your keywords earned the clicks in the storm that just ended, then update the keywords and negative keywords your next campaign will use. Nothing else moves: your bid, your daily budget and your campaign length stay exactly where you set them, and a campaign that is already running is never touched. Every change is written into your own settings, dated, so you can see what changed and edit it back — and your edit always wins.

12What happens when someone calls and I miss it?

On the Autopilot plan your ads carry a storm line — a dedicated tracked number that forwards straight to you and logs callers with their real number. Miss a call and rescue sends the caller one text back in your company’s name; it ships off, and you switch it on in Settings. The caller’s reply lands in your Lead Inbox and reaches you by email. Calls forward from day one; text-backs start once the number’s texting approval completes.

13I don’t have a Google Ads account. Can I still use this?

Yes — that’s the Managed setup. We open an advertising account for your company under our manager account, run the storm campaigns in it, and you never sign into Google at all. It costs a one-time $499 to open and configure the account — charged when you ask us to build it, refunded in full if we cannot deliver a live account — and after that you pay the same monthly plan as everyone else. Your balance buys ads at Google's price, dollar for dollar. We add no percentage and no fee to it. Whatever you don't spend comes back on request. When the balance runs out, campaigns stop. We never spend past what you added. If you’d rather own the account yourself, bring your own — that path stays the default and you keep the account and its history if you leave.

14Why does Managed cost a one-time $499?

Because opening and configuring a Google Ads account is real work, done once. We create the account in your company's name under our manager account, set up its billing with Google and get it approved, and configure it so a storm campaign can launch in it — the part you would otherwise do yourself. It is charged when you ask us to build the account, refunded in full if we cannot deliver a live one, and never charged again for the same account: if you leave and come back, the account was paused, not closed, so there is nothing to rebuild. After that, Managed is the same monthly plan everyone pays, and it is not a percentage of anything — your ad money still goes to Google at cost. If you would rather own the account and do the admin, bring your own and there is no setup fee at all.

Who’s behind this

Built on ten-plus years of growing companies.

Built by the crew that ran storm campaigns for a US disaster-restoration company — not by an ad agency. No stock testimonials, no fake logos.

We have spent more than ten years helping companies grow. In that time we have built a lot of ways to win new clients. This one, reaching people right after a weather event in exactly the places it touched, is one of the most successful approaches we have ever built.

It worked so well that we turned it into a product. StormFunnel is that system, packaged so you can run it for your own company without hiring anyone. That is why we are sharing it.
